I did this illustration of Rumpelstiltskin for 
's fairy tale contest.
It shows Rumpelstiltskin as he is dancing around the fire singing:
Today I brew, tomorrow I bake;
And then the Prince child I will take;
For no-one knows my little game
That Rumplestiltskin is my name!
Rumpelstiltskin was one of my favourite fairy tales as a child, therefore i had a lot of fun doing this illustration

Oh wow! What a wonderful style, and your choice of Rumpelstilskin works so well with it 
The vibrant colours are just stunning. I love the little jig Rumpelstilskin is doing, and the music notes are a great touch. He looks completely like I would have imagined him looking, I really like his devilish little expression too! 
Such lovely lighting coming from that fire. You've added just enough detail where it counts and simplified things (the black silhouettes) in other paces to really create a really solid looking piece! Such a fantastic piece I'm so glad you decided to enter! Thank you so much!
